La Hacienda El Mexicano: A Vibrant Mexican Dining Experience in Tuscaloosa

First time in Tuscaloosa, so I goggled Mexican Restaurants and La Hacienda was one of them. For our surprise the food was great. I ordered steak fajita Nachos and the portion was big. My daughter ordered a torta Al pastor and she liked it. We had a really good experience at the restaurant.

Food is always perfect. Service is fast and good. Great little place to grab lunch when you've got to get out of the office.

Absolutely Amazing! Great prices! Great family friendly location. I had a Strawberry Baby Pitcher Margarita that I couldn't finish. Definitely add a extra shot to make it stronger. Steak was a bit chewy. But other than that great service. *As we left a gentleman did walk out the back and take a piss! He had on a apron, I really hope this was not the cook! Maybe dishwasher but definitely had me thinking

Went here twice (once with my SO, once by myself.) Service is so so, they get enough business that they don't really need to be super nice, it's also crowded every night so I get why they aren't super happy all the time. Price is respectable and food is good. Would go here again

I have dined in and enjoyed this place, normally they’re quite friendly and there’s music playing- food & drinks are good. Recently, I ordered a togo order and paid $5.75 for a regular queso… was very shocked whenever i arrived and it was a sauce container size cup full of cheese. Other than that I enjoy this place a lot!

Nice little Mom and Pop restaurant!! Margaritas needed a little more (TEXAS) Tequila!!! Sports on the BIG SCREENS!!! All the good tailgate jams were playing, good stuff!!!

Very flavorful food, however, very few truly spicy options as their jalapeños appear unusually mild. This may not be the case now as I did bring this to the attention of management. I ordered the fajita nachos which were very filling. This is much better than I expected, but I came in with basically no expectations as I had never heard of them. I'd eat there again if I were near it but I won't go looking for it without better spicy options. I've attached pictures here.

My family all really liked this place. It's in a nice location, easy to get to for being that close to the strip. They had the usual Mexican fare with a few items tou don't see elsewhere. We will definitely be going back.
